As a creative working in entertainment design in Los Angeles for a number of years, I had the opportunity to work on a number of high profile home theatre releases for the likes of major studios such as Disney, New Line Cinema, and United Artists to name a few. DVD menu projects were usually a combination of design, animation, compositing and video editing. This is a sampling of some of the projects I worked on.

Wall•E DVD menu animation / Disney
I designed, edited and animated the DVD menus for Disney's Wall•E home video release. The idea for the main menu animation was to create the interior UI of WALL•E's POV. As he looked out onto the horizon, he saw a billboard (they were a big part of the film) and that is where selectable navigation lived. I created and animated all the UI elements as well as the billboard that I composited into the scene. One of my favorite projects because it was a combination of design, animation, editing and compositing.

Valkyrie Bluray menus pitch / United Artist
This is a pitch I worked on for United Artists Bluray release of Valkyrie. The idea for the main menu animation was to match the serious and dramatic tone of the movie. I edited the sequence making sure to give it a cinematic feel that would match the audio which was taken from the film's score. I also designed the UI to match the look and feel of the maps that were used as part of the plot in the film.
